2010 Ironman 70.3 Oceanside sold out.

Wow, Again what did I sign up for ? Do I like pain? NO!! but I love a challenge !!!

It’s awsome to be able to sign up for an event such as this and to know that I will do my best to finish as fast as frank can. This life I lead is constant battle for something, weather it be facing a self induced challenge or one that the universe aligns me with, I will do my best to show other humans that all can be overcome with a set mind to do and a body to follow. Training-Teaching my body to be what all bodies are designed to do, to get better the more we use them and condition the mind to see the finish line before the race ever starts.

What did I get myself into now !!!

Back in Dec 2005 at 5:45 am there I was on the Las Vegas strip, but not there on a table gambling, I was on a statring line ready to try and do My first 26.2  I remember thinking right before the start WHAT DID I GET MYSELF INTO THIS TIME !!! AM I CRAZY, WHAT WAS I THINKING. There I was with runners and everyone had their bibs on and I was at the point of no return. Well, every peak experience I have had thus far has a sharp point on it that could have hurt me.  If I don’t do the work correctly the outcome could be bad. Next week is a big risk into uncharted waters and only training and a calm mind will get me home. Am I scared “yes” will I perform “yes” and training alone will mark this journey.

Wow I really changed on my weight lifting, I lost about 25% of what I was lifting and now seems I have to start over again.

I was in  rest mode after the marathon in December and now almost eight weeks later I’m back in my training program. Next  run is Carlsbad 5000 pr here we go.
